Today was unique indeed. First of all, I cannot remember a snowier winter, at least since adulthood. I live in Michigan, where everybody is all "we're tough, it snows, deal with it" but I work in Ohio, which is only a few miles away, but Ohioans are all "wah, it's snowing. Level 3! Level 3! Shut down the city!" Anyhow, I still don't fully understand the snow level concept. It's so confusing. You aren't supposed to be on the roads or you could be subject to arrest, but they tell you to call your employer to see if you should report or not.
Mmmmmaybe it was tempting a police officer actually pulling me over or maybe it was me just wanting to get some work done, but I went in to work anyways. Well, aside from the big boss, I was the only person to show up. He was surprised to see me, so much so I hadn't noticed he wasn't dressed in his normal business casual attire. He said he wasn't expecting to see anybody. Little did he know how hard it is to keep me away from work. ;)
The empty hall...
The "casual" boss...
That's awesome. I see a raise in your future. You rock!
